I’m trying to get back in the swing of things after an AWESOME spring break, and one of the ways I like to help myself get through a long day is by having a great breakfast. So, for our kegs and eggs week, I am bringing you a homemade egg mcmuffin recipe. Things you will need:
- 1 English muffin
- 1 egg
- 1 Kraft singles American cheese
The first thing you need to do is spray some Pam in a small skillet and fry the egg over medium heat. I usually crack the yolk so it is cooked all the way, but if you like your sandwich runny, go for it. Then slice and toast the English muffin. Put the cheese on one side of the muffin and heat in the microwave for 5-10 seconds or until slightly melted. Then put a little mayo (or I use miracle whip for less calories) on the other side of the muffin. Put the egg between the two sides and enjoy! I’m telling you, this takes maybe 5 minutes and is a great way to start your morning off right. Have a great week foodies!
